Nomination for the Sixth Annual Paul E. Lovejoy Prize (2025) for the volume Slave Subjectivities in the Iberian Worlds (16th–20th Centuries)
The volume edited by Ângela Barreto Xavier, Cristina Nogueira da Silva, and Michel Cahen, Slave Subjectivities in the Iberian Worlds (16th–20th Centuries), published in Leiden–Boston by Brill in 2024 and supported by CEDIS, has been nominated for the Sixth Annual Paul E. Lovejoy Prize (2025). This prize recognizes the best works on the theme of global slavery published in 2023.
