CEDIS adheres to the Ethics Regulation of NOVA University Lisbon (Regulation no. 638/2018), which includes a non-discrimination charter and a monitoring mechanism comprising an anonymous whistleblowing portal.
In addition, CEDIS follows the guidelines established by the Ethics Council of NOVA University Lisbon, an advisory body to the Rector on ethical questions arising from scientific research, teaching, university extension and the general operations of its Schools and Research Units. Where ethical concerns arise, we seek to apply the Ethics Council’s expertise to consolidate a policy that safeguards the ethical principles guiding the research activities of CEDIS researchers and staff.

CEDIS Guidelines.
