Biography

PhD in Economic and Business Sciences with a specialisation in Economics, approved unanimously with Distinction and Honours by the University of the Azores (UAc); PhD candidate in Law at the NOVA University of Lisbon – NOVA School of Law; Master's degree in Social Sciences (UAc); Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences (UAc); Bachelor's degree in Sociology (UAc) and Bachelor's degree in Law (UAL). She is the course coordinator and lecturer for the subject "Social Security Law" in the Master's degree in Business and Labour Law, and course coordinator and lecturer for the subjects "Criminal Procedure Law", "Fundamental Rights" and "Commercial Law I and Commercial Law II" in the Bachelor's degree in Law at the University of Santiago (Cape Verde). She also teaches at the University of the Azores, as a lecturer, the subjects "Social Legislation" and "Family and Minors Law", having also taught the subjects "Introduction to Law" and "Tourism Legislation" in the Bachelor's degree programmes in Social Work, Management, Economics and Tourism.
