

Ana Coimbra Trigo holds a PhD in Law from NOVA School of Law (summa cum laude) and has been a guest lecturer in this faculty since 2022.
She is a researcher at the NOVA Dispute Resolution Forum and CEDIS, as well as a coach for the NOVA Vis Moot Team.
Ana has a law degree from the University of Coimbra and a master's degree in European and International Law from the China-EU School of Law at CUPL, Beijing, awarded by the University of Hamburg. As part of her doctoral research, she spent time at the European University Institute (EUI, Florence), Sciences Po (Paris), Columbia University (New York), where she received a Fulbright Scholarship, and Hong Kong University.
Ana is also a senior associate in PLMJ's Dispute Resolution practice in Lisbon, Portugal. She specialises in arbitration, both domestic and international, commercial and investment, as a lawyer and tribunal secretary, as well as in court cases relating to arbitration and other civil and commercial law matters.
Ana is also a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and an ICFML certified mediator. In addition to publishing and speaking frequently, she is deputy director of Revista Internacional de Arbitragem e Conciliação, a member of the Diversity Committee of the CCIP Commercial Arbitration Centre (CAC-CCIP), and a member of the secretariat of the Lusophone Arbitrators Club (Clube dos Arbitralistas Lusófonos).
