Nota biográfica

Ana Coimbra Trigo is a lawyer, academic and Fulbrighter. She is currently attending the PhD in Law Program at NOVA School of Law, preparing her dissertation under the guidance of Professor Mariana França Gouveia. As part of her research, Ana undertook research stays at the European University Institute (EUI, Florence), Sciences Po (Paris), and Columbia University (New York) benefiting from a Fulbright Scholarship. She has been a researcher at the NOVA Dispute Resolution Forum and coach of NOVA Vis Moot Team since 2021. She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra and a Master’s degree in European and International Law from the China-EU Law School at CUPL, Beijing, conferred by the University of Hamburg. Ana also practiced as an Associate lawyer in the Dispute Resolution team of PLMJ Advogados, SP, RL, in Lisbon, Portugal. She specializes in arbitration, institutional and ad hoc, domestic and international, both as a counsel and tribunal secretary, as well as in arbitration-related litigation and other domestic and international civil and commercial disputes. In addition to publishing, speaking frequently in the area and being involved with several projects, Ana is deputy director of Portuguese Arbitration and Conciliation Review (Revista Internacional de Arbitragem e Conciliação), member of the Diversity Committee of the Comercial Arbitration Centre of CCIP, and member of the secretariat of the Lusophone Arbitration Club (Clube dos Arbitralistas Lusófonos).
