Teresa Violante is a Ph.D. candidate at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. She holds a graduate degree in law (University of Coimbra) and a European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratization (University of Padova)). She is also the Director of the Institute for the Global Rule of Law of the European Public Law Organization. Her research delves deeply into the role of constitutional courts in contemporary democracies, an area in which she has authored several publications. This work encompasses topics in both Constitutional Law and Comparative Constitutional Law.
