This week, 25 June, CEDIS’ Board of Directors and Science Management team met with the members of the External Advisory Board, Tamar Herzog (Department of History and Affiliated Faculty, Harvard Law School, USA), and Nuno Garoupa (Antonin Scalia Law School, George Manson University (USA).
The topics discussed were the balance between continuing the investment that has been made in the internationalisation of research and valuing research that is more directed at the national community, as well as the design of scientific strategies that value internationalisation with Portuguese-speaking countries, as this is an area in which Portugal is particularly competitive when compared to other countries.
