Professor Filipe Brito Bastos receives honorable mention

On NOVA Day 2024, Professor Filipe Brito Bastos received an honorable mention within the scope of the 3rd edition of the Pedagogical Innovation Award.

The honorable mention distinguished the Podcast project entitled “From the Station to the Lecture Hall: An Administrative Law Podcast”, which the professor developed in partnership with the students in the last two years of the degree.

The students volunteered to record, each one, an episode that offers a first introduction to the core subjects of Administrative Law, in terms so simple and succinct that it can be heard by their 2nd year classmates on the short route between the S. Sebastião metro station and the Amphitheaters where they will have the class that will deal with these subjects in detail.

The distinction is a joint success of the collaboration of the professor, who conceived, supervised and guaranteed the quality of the project, and the students who prepared, recorded and edited the episodes of the Podcast and who even developed the graphic image for Spotify.

This is a concrete example of the unique culture of pedagogical innovation and proximity between professors and students that has always marked NOVA School of Law.
